Tips to Store Jadau Jewellery Safely at Home

Hey! So if you’ve bought that gorgeous Jadau set (or maybe a few more 👀), you gotta take care of it properly — trust me, Jadau jewellery is like a baby, very delicate and moody 😅. Here are some real, not-too-fancy tips I’ve learnt (some the hard way) to store Jadau jewellery at home.

🧵 1. Wrap it like a burrito (in soft cloth!)
Jadau is not like regular gold stuff. It has stones, meenakari, and Kundan work that can easily get chipped or scratched.

Use soft cotton cloth or butter paper.

Don’t use newspaper — the ink transfers (I learnt this late 😩).

Wrap each piece separately. Bangles and earrings love scratching each other, lol.

Not the plastic dabba your mom gave for haldi (been there 😅). Use:

Small jewellery boxes lined with velvet or foam.

Zip-lock pouches are okay, but make sure they’re dry inside.
